The A6 has been recalled 38 times. The 1998 model year has been involved in the most campaigns.
Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Audi itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.
